Dr. Solomon has been in practice since 2003. During that time he has received many awards and accolades. He has lectured and published extensively in the field of hand surgery. He is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Locally, he is member of the Maryland Orthopaedic Association and the DC Metropolitan Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. Solomon has been named Top Doctor in the field of hand surgery by his peers in multiple prestigious publications -- including Washingtonian Magazine 2008-2017 and Castle Connolly 2011-2017. Each of these honors is based on a survey of other physicians as to whom they would choose for their own medical care.
Clinically, Dr. Solomon treats all conditions of the upper extremity from shoulder to fingertip. His focus is treating patients compassionately, conservatively, and efficiently. Special areas of interest include carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures of the hand and wrist, hand and shoulder arthritis, and rotator cuff disease. For certain conditions Dr. Solomon performs in-office surgery to patients wide awake, under local anesthesia only.
Dr. Solomon resides in Bethesda, Maryland where he lives with his three children. In his spare time he enjoys travel, golf, and the ocean.
