Dr. Walter Lin, MD – San Francisco, CA

Dr. Walter Lin has dual-board certifications in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery, with further sub-specialization in microsurgery, lymphedema surgery, gender affirmation surgery, and burn reconstruction surgery. He currently serves as the elected Chair of the Department of Surgery at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco, and is also affiliated with California Pacific Medical Center.

He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and and completed residency at UCSF, with additional fellowship training in Hand, Microvascular, and Transgender surgery. He specializes in hand and plastic & reconstructive microsurgery and is experienced in hand surgery, lymphatic bypass, vascularized lymph node transfer, microsurgery, breast reconstruction, and transgender surgery.
