American actress Kathleen Erin Walsh was born on October 13, 1967. She is best recognized for her work on the ABC television series Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice as Dr. Addison Montgomery.
Walsh attended the University of Arizona to study acting after graduating from Catalina Magnet High School, but she left the program early. Walsh relocated to New York City and joined the comedy group Burn Manhattan while working as a waitress to support herself.
In the 1980s, Walsh began modeling and teaching English in Japan after working at fast-food restaurants. She later relocated to Chicago where she worked at the Piven Theatre Workshop. She appeared on National Public Radio as part of the Born Guilty radio play production.
Boyfriend LLC, a cosmetics and lifestyle business, was created by Walsh in 2010.
She was also well-known for playing Rebecca Wright on the NBC sitcom Bad Judge, which was only produced for a few episodes, Olivia Baker on 13 Reasons Why, Nicki Fifer on the ABC sitcom The Drew Carey Show, The Handler on The Umbrella Academy, and Madeline Wheeler on Emily in Paris.
