Reminisce Mackie (born on May 30, 1980), is an American rapper who goes by the stage name Remy Ma. She rose to prominence as a member of Fat Joe’s Terror Squad after Big Pun discovered her. She released her first studio album in 2006, titled There’s Something About Remy: Based on a True Story, which achieved modest success and reached its highest position on the Billboard 200 chart at number 33. “Whuteva,” “Ante Up (Remix),” “Lean Back,” “Conceited,” and “All the Way Up” are some of Ma’s best-selling songs.
She is one of only four people to do so. Ma has been nominated for four Grammy Awards and has won two Vibe Awards and two Source Awards. She has appeared on the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop: New York, together with Papoose, her husband.
