The wife of their former ace Tim Lincecum, Cristin Coleman, has passed away, according to the San Francisco Giants.
Coleman, a Bay Area elementary school teacher who passed away from cancer on June 27, was not publicly announced by the Giants until Thursday(August 11) night.

The Giants released a statement on Twitter stating that they were very heartbroken to learn of the demise of Tim Lincecum’s wife, Cristin Coleman.
Since leaving the baseball diamond in 2016, Lincecum has maintained a well-known reputation for seclusion. He declined the invitation to the 2012 Giants team reunion this weekend and hasn’t been seen much since retiring from the game.
He was a two-time Cy Young Award-winning pitcher who was adored by the fans after helping San Francisco win three World Series. From 2008 to 2011, he was selected to four All-Star games. He also led the National League in strikeouts three times.

Rebecca Asis, Lincecum’s mother, is an immigrant from the Philippines. Chris, his father, who happens to be an American was a Boeing employee.
