Julia Child cause of death: What did Julia Child suffer from?
Julia was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 55 nearly over six decades ago after discovering a lump in her breast. But she kept her battle relatively private, however, in one of her journals she left a clue about her illness, she simply wrote, (Left breast off).
She had the foresight to establish The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts, to continue her far-reaching impact as a teacher and mentor.
For nearly two decades the Foundation has continued Julia’s legacy by making grants to other non-profit organizations and presenting the Julia Child Award, educating and empowering others to live well through the joys of cooking, eating, and drinking well.
