Joe attended the University of Massachusetts – Boston. He graduated from Newton South High School in 1985.
Rogan played Little League baseball and became interested in martial arts when he was a young adolescent.
He remembered that he “As a young boy, I was frightened of failing, and martial arts offered me not just confidence but also a new perspective on who I was and what I was capable of.
I was certain that I could do an extremely challenging task that had previously given me the willies.
